
Greta has over six years of teaching experience in European universities. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). Currently, she is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the Institute of Psychology, Department of Clinical Psychology, Vilnius University. Her taught modules focus on a variety of theories, including personality psychology, social psychology, psychoanalysis, and psychology of creativity; these modules are taught both face-to-face and online.
Additionally, Greta is an Associate Lecturer in Psychotherapy and Counselling, University of Derby Online Learning. She teaches modules on comparative therapeutic interventions, practice-based evidence and research, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and clinical supervision. She is also supervising students on the Independent Study at University of Derby and overseeing their dissertations.
In the past, Greta taught at the Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies, University of Essex (2017-2021) as Assistant Lecturer on psychodynamic psychotherapy, qualitative research methodology, developmental psychology, child psychoanalysis, object relations theories, and psychoanalytic approaches to media and film modules. Greta’s students come from a variety of degrees and walks of life, including aspiring and trainee psychotherapists, clinical researchers, social care workers, nurses, psychosocial researchers, teachers, etc.
Greta has also delivered workshops, presentations, and invited talks for students, researchers and clinicians. For several years she led the Society for Psychotherapy Research, which featured regular webinars, events and workshops. Greta is an experienced speaker, comfortable addressing audiences both face-to-face and through online mediums.
